Your staff are ready to help. Your customer is ready to buy. The correct part has been identified, but it’s not in stock. What do you do? Spend time calling suppliers and risk losing the sale?

Buyer Assist will provide you with visibility of approved agents, contact details and a centralized real-time inventory locator (where available)

Finding the perfect balance with inventory levels and stocked parts is the ultimate challenge for retailers and trade suppliers, out-of-stock items lead to lost sales, walkouts, and potentially lost customers. While out-of-stock items are inevitable, lost sales are preventable with Autoinfo's Buyer Assist.

How to use

Identify your vehicle and locate the parts in the usual way.

The Buyer Assist feature can be accessed 2 ways.

Click on the new Buyer Assist icon in the part list located next to the notes about the part.
Or click on the Information icon located next to the part numbers and locater the Buyer Assist icon in the part preview panel.

Once you have clicked the Buyer Assist icon the Buyer Assist/Part Info page will open.

Located on this screen you will find

Recently viewed Items
Selected items part number
Images
Specifications
Technical Data
Agents of selected brand
Agent Contact details
Real-time agent inventory

Click Agents to see a tab showing all the approved agents for the brand you have selected.

Click the Contact Details link to see to a tab showing all the contact details for the selected Agent.

Click the Inventory Available icon to see a tab showing Real-time inventory, stock levels and inventory locations for the selected Agent.

Valid at indicates how old the inventory list is. To see if these levels have changed click on the Refresh button and inventory levels will reload.

If multiple agents are available for a part you will be able to check available inventory for each agent.
