Advanced Search

The 'Advanced Search' works by
the user entering information known about the vehicle into the search boxes and then pressing
'Enter'. The first six vehicles that match the information in the search fields
are displayed. The number of vehicles the search returned is display at the bottom
left of the section. Once you click anywhere on a displayed vehicle the 'Vehicle Information
Section' will be filled in and if a 'Part Type' has been selected the 'Parts Section'
will display all available parts for
that part type for the selected vehicle. |

Refine your Search
You can refine the search results by using the 'Filters'. Click the 'Refine'
button to display the Filters. The Filter section is shown to the right.

There are also 2 other ways of searching for a vehicle in the 'Advanced Search'.

The first is by the 'Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)' or Ford Model Code. (Note: See ‘VIN Search’ section of Help for more detail on how this function works) Enter the Vehicles VIN or Ford Model Code into the VIN search field and click the 'GO' button or Enter. This will display any vehicles with a matching VIN or Ford Model Code Number. |

The second is by the registration plate. (Note: See ‘Rego Search’ section of Help for more detail and adding and searching registration numbers) Enter the Vehicles Registration Plate Number into the Rego Plate search field and click the 'GO' button or Enter. This will display any vehicles with a matching Plate. |

Search History
You can view today's vehicle search history by using the History function. Click the 'History' button to display. Click the desired vehicle History is only available for the terminal you are using. History is only available for that day or until OSCAR is restarted. |
